Sobrepuny Trail

About this event

The Sobrepuny Trail leads experienced runners through the rugged mountains around La Nou de Berguedà in Catalonia's Berguedà region. The 35-kilometre route climbs 2,410 metres to a high point of 1,711 metres, following mostly technical singletrack (about two-thirds of the course) with some forest tracks mixed in. The sustained elevation and challenging terrain make this one for confident trail runners who enjoy testing themselves in genuine mountain conditions. The loop course returns to the start, with five aid stations positioned along the way. Organized by the local mountain association, it offers an authentic mountain experience in a beautiful corner of the Catalan Pyrenees foothills.
