Set in Switzerland's Italian-speaking Ticino region, the Skyrace Lodrino-Lavertezzo explores the dramatic valleys and alpine landscapes north of Lodrino. Two courses cater to different ambitions: the 6km route climbs 1,326 metres, offering a punchy introduction to vertical racing, while the 22km option tackles over 2,000 metres of ascent through classic Swiss mountain terrain. Both routes showcase the raw beauty of this lesser-known corner of the Alps, where forested slopes give way to rocky ridges and sweeping alpine views. It's a genuine mountain challenge in early June, welcoming those ready to test themselves on steeper, more technical ground.
