The Sierra Nevada Límite MTB Race takes riders through the dramatic mountain terrain above Pinos Genil, deep in Spain's Sierra Nevada range. Two routes are on offer: a 73.5km Marathon with 2,480m of climbing, and a 43.5km Half Marathon gaining 1,570m. Both courses wind through technical climbs, forest trails, and exposed mountain passes, demanding solid bike handling skills and high-altitude fitness. With a limit of 600 participants, the race maintains an intimate feel while delivering serious mountain challenges. The terrain shifts constantly—forest single-track giving way to rocky ascents, then fast descents with sweeping views across the peaks. It's a proper test piece for experienced mountain bikers looking to tackle one of southern Spain's most striking landscapes.
