Scenic Trail lives up to its name, offering runners a genuine taste of Swiss trail running in the hills above Tesserete, near Lugano in Ticino. What makes this event special is its remarkable range — from a welcoming 4km option perfect for newcomers to a demanding 118km mountain challenge with over 8,000 metres of climbing. The middle distances (20km and 31km) strike a lovely balance for those building confidence, while the longer routes satisfy experienced ultrarunners seeking serious elevation. The courses wind through Ticino's characteristic mix of forests, alpine pastures, and ridgeline views. With seven distances to choose from, it's an event where friends of different abilities can share the same trail running weekend.
