Set along the Danube Bend in historic Szentendre, this ultra series reveals a side of Hungary many trail runners never expect. Six distances from 22km to 111km wind through forested ridges and valleys north of Budapest, with the longest route packing over 4,500 metres of climbing into its 111 kilometres. The terrain defies the country's flat reputation, offering technical trails and sustained elevation that challenge even experienced ultra runners. Shorter options at 22km and 29km provide a solid introduction to these rolling hills without the full commitment, while the 83km and 111km distances test endurance across Hungary's surprisingly rugged landscape. The international field adds energy to Szentendre's charming riverside streets at the start and finish.
