ROYAT TRAIL TOUR

About this event

The Royat Trail Tour takes runners into the volcanic heart of the Chaîne des Puys, a UNESCO-listed landscape of ancient craters and lava flows. Three routes explore this dramatic terrain — 14km with 638m of climbing, 27km with 1,267m, or the full 41km loop gaining 1,886m. The courses follow technical trails along the Limagne Fault, crossing rugged volcanic formations with views over the Auvergne's distinctive conical peaks. Starting from the historic spa town of Royat in mid-November, the event suits confident runners ready for steep climbs, rocky descents, and the raw, wild character of the Massif Central.
