Ratschings Mountain Trails

Set in South Tyrol's Ratschings valley, this mountain trail event offers two routes through dramatic Alpine terrain. The 17-kilometre course climbs 930 metres through forest and meadow, while the 28-kilometre variant tackles 1,700 metres of ascent, adding technical ridge sections and sweeping valley views. Both routes wind between mountain huts and traverse open ridgelines, showcasing the rugged character of the Italian Alps. The terrain demands solid mountain running experience, with sustained climbs and technical descents typical of the region. Runners finish in the traditional village of Ratschings, surrounded by peaks that mark the border between Italy and Austria.
