Östgöta Ultra Trail

Östgöta Ultra Trail ventures deep into the forests and rolling terrain of southern Sweden, starting from the small town of Kisa. Three distances — 55km, 111km, and 166km — each pack substantial climbing through landscapes of forest trails and undulating backcountry. The 111km option offers experienced runners a serious test without the full ultra commitment, while the 166km route presents a genuine endurance challenge across Östergötland's remote terrain. Late September brings crisp autumn air and forests dressed in seasonal colour. This event suits runners with solid ultra experience and a taste for Scandinavian trail running.
