ORSA PRAVELLO TRAIL

About this event

This trail winds through the Monte Orsa and Pravello massif, a UNESCO World Heritage site straddling the Italian-Swiss border near Saltrio. Runners follow forest roads and mountain trails across the peaks of both summits, with the route carefully designed to stay off paved roads as much as possible. The terrain offers a genuine alpine experience, moving between Italian and Swiss territory during the course. Two distance options are available: a 17km route with 1,124 metres of climbing, and a more challenging 30km version with 1,925 metres of elevation gain. The organisation provides well-marked trails and several aid stations along the way, making navigation straightforward despite the remote mountain setting.
