The Mussara Donostia-San Sebastián takes riders on a 148km journey through the heart of Basque Country, weaving through 17 towns across Gipuzkoa and Navarra. This non-competitive ride tackles 2,840m of climbing, following narrow roads that wind past vineyards, fishing villages, and the slopes of Mount Aralar. The route traces paths made famous by the Vuelta a España and Tour de France, passing through landscapes that have shaped Basque cycling culture for generations. It's a substantial challenge suited to experienced cyclists comfortable with long distances and sustained climbing through varied terrain.
