Set on the shores of Lake Maggiore in Cannero Riviera, the Morissolo Vertikal honors the memory of Loredano with a demanding vertical climb. This 6-kilometre route gains 1,620 metres of elevation, making it a true test of climbing strength and endurance. The course ascends from the lakeside village through alpine terrain, offering stunning views over the water and surrounding peaks. While the steep gradient suits experienced mountain runners, the memorial atmosphere adds a special sense of purpose to the effort. It's a compact but intense mountain challenge in one of Italy's most beautiful lakeside settings, held in mid-October when autumn colours frame the lake.
