About this event
MilanoTRI takes place at Milan's Idroscalo Park, a fascinating urban venue with a unique history as a former seaplane base. The event offers Olympic and Sprint distance options, with the swim course set in a 400-meter artificial basin that once served aircraft. The bike route winds past historic aviation hangars, while the run follows the waterfront around the marina's floating piers. Both distances use wave starts and chip timing, and transitions are well-supported with aid stations offering isotonic drinks and energy food. It's a proper test for experienced triathletes looking to kick off their season in an atmospheric setting that blends sporting challenge with Milan's industrial heritage.
