Memorial Cristina Calleri
About this event
The Memorial Cristina Calleri honors the memory of a beloved runner through a trail event in Torregrotta, a small town in Sicily's northeastern corner. Set between the Peloritani Mountains and the Tyrrhenian Sea, the course winds through Mediterranean landscapes where ancient olive groves meet rugged hillsides. July means warm Sicilian sunshine and the scent of wild herbs underfoot. This memorial event carries a special atmosphere, bringing together the local running community in a celebration of life and sport. The terrain demands respect and solid trail experience, making it suited for runners comfortable with technical sections and summer heat. It's the kind of race where the challenge matters as much as the camaraderie.
