La Trace du Bouquetin

Set in the alpine village of Pralognan-la-Vanoise, La Trace du Bouquetin takes runners through the Vanoise landscape at the height of summer. The 15km course gains 570m as it winds through trails that feel distinctly alpine without being intimidating. It's named after the ibex that roam these high valleys, and the route offers glimpses of the terrain these sure-footed creatures call home. Taking place during summer holidays, the event carries a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that suits intermediate runners looking for a proper mountain outing without extreme technicality. A lovely introduction to the trails of the Vanoise.
