La Pittorica "Nelle terre di Giotto"

La Pittorica takes runners through the Mugello hills of Tuscany, where Renaissance master Giotto was born. The event offers three challenging distances through the historic countryside around Vicchio, with routes ranging from 31km to 70km. The terrain reflects the gentle rolling landscapes captured in Giotto's frescoes, though the climbs are more demanding than they might appear. This is a proper trail challenge rather than a beginner outing, best suited to runners comfortable with longer distances. The late summer timing means warm conditions, but also the chance to run through golden Tuscan light with views across the valleys where one of art history's great painters first learned to see.
