The Klewenalp Trail takes runners into the dramatic landscapes of Central Switzerland, where technical alpine terrain unfolds against a backdrop of peaks and valleys. Three distances offer different levels of challenge: an 11-kilometre route with 540 metres of climbing introduces the area's character, while the 30-kilometre (2050 metres) and 43-kilometre (3120 metres) options explore the region's rugged topography more thoroughly. The courses demand solid mountain-running experience, with steep climbs and technical descents that reward confident footwork. A genuine alpine test in the heart of Switzerland's mountain country.
