Set in the stunning Kitzbühel Alps, the KAT100 by UTMB offers something for every trail runner. The Austrian Tyrol provides a spectacular backdrop of alpine meadows, dense forests, and classic mountain trails. The event's five distances make it genuinely accessible — the 8km Easy Trail welcomes newcomers to mountain running, while the 100-mile route challenges experienced ultrarunners with nearly 10,000 meters of climbing. The middle distances (24km, 51km, and 81km) each showcase different facets of this beautiful region. Based in the charming village of Fieberbrunn, runners enjoy excellent facilities and warm Tyrolean hospitality. The mix of runnable forest paths and technical mountain sections means terrain variety for all abilities.
