Kangas Mountain

Set in the dramatic foothills of Picos de Europa National Park, Kangas Mountain has earned a reputation as one of Spain's finest endurance challenges since launching in 2019. The flagship 60km route packs over 4,000 metres of climbing into a demanding but runnable course that tests both legs and resolve. Three shorter distances (33km, 21km, and 13km) offer their own substantial challenges, each weaving through the rugged terrain near Cangas de Onís. The courses strike a balance between technical mountain terrain and flowing trails, making for a fast-paced race despite the significant elevation. This is proper mountain running in one of Europe's most spectacular ranges.
