Javornícka stovka

Javornicka stovka takes runners on a 104-kilometre traverse through Slovakia's Javorniky mountains, starting from Cadca and finishing in Lysa pod Makytou. The route gains 3,824 metres as it weaves through the rugged peaks and valleys of this remote range near the Czech border. Technical terrain and genuine backcountry sections make this a challenge for experienced ultra runners looking beyond the mainstream circuit. October brings autumn colour to the beech forests and alpine meadows, though mountain weather can turn quickly at this time of year. A proper test on Slovak trails for those ready for serious elevation and long mountain days.
