About this event

Set in the rugged terrain around Arnedo in Spain's La Rioja region, this March event offers three routes through landscapes where vineyards meet wild hillsides. The 16km course rolls gently through the countryside with 369 metres of climbing, while the 22km nearly triples the elevation gain to 942 metres. The 44km distance brings serious challenge with 2,463 metres of ascent over rocky, Mediterranean-influenced terrain characteristic of this wine-growing region. Each route showcases different facets of La Rioja's topography, from cultivated valleys to demanding climbs that reveal the raw character of the land beyond the vines.
