The Engiadina Scuol Trail takes runners deep into the rugged beauty of Switzerland's Lower Engadin region, where alpine meadows meet dramatic mountain passes. The 48km route features a substantial 3,060m of climbing, making it a serious challenge that demands both endurance and mountain experience. Based in the spa town of Scuol, the race threads through traditional Romansh villages and remote valleys where the architecture and landscape feel distinctly different from the rest of Switzerland. This is one for experienced trail runners who appreciate technical terrain and sustained vertical gain in a quieter corner of the Alps.
