Elba Legend Run

The Elba Legend Run explores the rugged trails of Capoliveri on Italy's island of Elba, where Mediterranean mountains drop straight into the sea. Runners choose between a 25-kilometre route with 893 metres of climbing that captures the island's character, or a demanding 64-kilometre ultra gaining 2,766 metres through Elba's wild interior. The courses weave between rocky ridgelines, forest passages, and ancient mining trails, with the island's compact geography delivering constant variety. October brings comfortable temperatures and clear autumn light that illuminates coastal views and turquoise waters below. Technical terrain and sustained climbing make this a rewarding challenge for experienced trail runners drawn to island adventures.
