The Ecomaratona del Chianti takes runners through Tuscany's legendary wine country during harvest season, when the vineyards glow golden and the air carries the scent of ripening grapes. The routes wind past medieval hamlets and rolling hills, with distances ranging from a 14km taster to the full marathon, plus a half marathon option that captures the essence of the landscape. The terrain mixes vineyard trails with forest paths, offering varied footing and a real sense of place.
