Col'Orne

About this event

Col'Orne takes runners through the rolling landscapes surrounding Alençon, in the heart of Normandy's Orne department. The trails wind through a mix of forest paths and open countryside typical of this pastoral region, where gentle hills give way to quiet valleys. Set in mid-May when the Norman countryside is lush and green, the event offers a taste of trail running in a less-travelled corner of France. While the terrain might appear gentle from afar, the accumulated elevation and technical sections make this one for runners with some trail experience. Alençon itself, with its historic centre and famous lace-making heritage, makes for a charming base before or after the race.
