The Cicloturistica Tevere-Farfa takes runners through the scenic countryside around Nazzano, where the Tiber and Farfa rivers meet in central Italy. Three distance options cater to different experience levels, from a welcoming 10km route for those new to trail running, to a challenging 42km course for seasoned runners. The trails wind through the Tiber-Farfa Nature Reserve, offering a mix of riverside paths and rolling terrain with glimpses of medieval villages perched on hilltops. It's a great opportunity to explore a lesser-known corner of Lazio, where the landscape shifts between riverside woodlands and open farmland, all while enjoying the relaxed atmosphere of a local Italian trail event.
