About this event

Running since 2003, BurriacXtrem brings trail runners to the hills above Argentona, just north of Barcelona. The 29-kilometre route climbs 1,307 metres through Mediterranean terrain, mixing technical sections with open ridges that offer glimpses of the coast. What sets this November race apart is the community behind it — a passionate local mountain group and around 200 volunteers who return each year. The course demands fitness and trail experience, with sustained climbing over varied ground. It's the kind of event where genuine mountain challenge meets warm, long-standing community spirit.
