About this event

The Berjatrail explores the woodland trails around Bourgoin-Jallieu in southeast France, with three distances suited to different ambitions. The 9km course (150m of climbing) welcomes newcomers to trail running, while the 16km and 24km options (300m and 480m respectively) add technical variety and longer climbs. What makes this November event distinctive is its late afternoon start — runners on longer distances watch daylight fade into dusk, finishing by headlamp through the forest. The terrain stays engaging without being severe, and aid stations are thoughtfully placed to keep everyone fueled.
