The AlbaTrail returns for its 11th edition in late February, offering two contrasting challenges in winter's crisp conditions. The 26km route climbs 1,300 metres, giving intermediate runners a solid vertical workout through varied terrain. The 61km course tackles a demanding 2,900 metres of elevation gain, suited to experienced trail runners seeking a serious winter test. February racing brings cooler temperatures and quieter trails, appealing to those who prefer off-season running. After more than a decade, the event has built a loyal following thanks to well-marked courses and satisfying climbs that reward the effort.
