13a Magnifica Salodium

About this event

The Magnifica Salodium winds through the hills above Lake Garda, where trails open onto sweeping views of the Gulf of Salò and the southern lake basin. Three distances — 11km, 20km, and 31km — share the same rewarding terrain: wooded paths and open hillsides where the lake spreads out far below. The courses climb between 419 and 1523 metres, making this a proper hill challenge rather than a lakeside stroll. Based in the lakeside town of Salò, this February race offers a quieter window into one of northern Italy's most striking landscapes, when winter light catches the water and the summer crowds have long gone home.
