About this event

Set in the Apennine hills around Tornolo, this winter trail offers a welcoming introduction to mountain running with two distance options. The 10km route provides a gentle taste of trail running with 407 metres of climbing, while the 25km course steps things up with over 1200 metres of elevation gain. Both routes follow scenic paths and country tracks through the winter landscape, with barely any road running to interrupt the off-road experience. The November timing brings crisp mountain air and often dramatic seasonal colours, making it an atmospheric event for those looking to ease into trail racing or simply enjoy a different side of Italian running.
