Veyziatrail offers three distinct courses through the rolling terrain around Veyziat in eastern France. Runners can choose from an 11km route with 320m of climbing, a 23km middle distance with 660m elevation, or the full 31km challenge featuring 800m of ascent. The courses wind through the varied landscape of the Ain department, mixing forest trails with open ridgelines. It's a solid spring racing option with something for different experience levels, though the terrain demands a good base fitness even on the shorter route. The March timing means crisp conditions and the landscape awakening from winter.
