Trail Alsace by UTMB brings the spirit of mountain running to the beautiful hills and forests surrounding Obernai, a charming medieval town in the Alsace wine region. With six distances ranging from a friendly 10.5km to a challenging 156km ultra, this event welcomes everyone from first-timers to seasoned ultra runners. The courses wind through mixed woodland and rolling terrain, offering a taste of Alsatian landscape and culture. The shorter options make this an excellent introduction to trail running, while the longer ultras provide serious challenges with significant elevation. The event's location in the heart of Alsace means runners can enjoy the region's distinctive half-timbered villages and vineyard views, making it as much a cultural experience as a sporting one.
