The Tenerife Bluetrail brings runners to Spain's Canary Islands for a scenic journey through diverse volcanic terrain. Starting from Puerto de la Cruz, courses wind through ancient forests, across mountain ridges, and up toward high-altitude trails with views stretching to the Atlantic. With six distances ranging from a steep 3.5km vertical night challenge to the demanding 110km route, there's genuinely something for different experience levels. The 24km option offers a welcoming entry point for those newer to mountain running, while the longer courses test endurance across Tenerife's dramatic landscapes. Part of the UTMB series, the event combines professional organization with the island's unique blend of lush forests and stark volcanic scenery.
