PUMA Salzburg Marathon

Set in Mozart's birthplace, this May running festival brings together the whole community across Salzburg's historic streets. The courses wind through the cultural heart of the city, offering everything from a 1.92km junior marathon to the full 42km distance. The flat, fast routes make it a popular choice for those chasing personal bests, while the variety of distances — including dedicated women's races and a relay option — keeps the atmosphere inclusive and celebratory. The half marathon and 10km routes attract strong fields, but there's genuine space here for newer runners too.
