Hässelbyloppet stands as one of Sweden's most storied 10K road races, tracing its roots back to 1915. The course winds through the residential neighborhoods of northwest Stockholm — Hässelby, Grimsta, Råcksta, and Vällingby — on a fast, flat route that's helped runners chase personal bests for over a century. While the race attracts elite athletes hunting records (the current marks stand at 29:21 and 33:02), it's equally welcoming to recreational runners of all abilities. There's even a dedicated youth 10K, making it a popular autumn fixture for Stockholm's running community.
