The Gruissan Kinetik Trail takes runners through the rugged Mediterranean landscapes surrounding this historic coastal village in southern France. With seven distances ranging from 10km to 50km, the event offers routes across varied terrain, from the gentle 12km Ronde des Chevriers with minimal climbing to the challenging 50km Gruissan Poli Trail featuring 1,700 metres of elevation gain. The trails wind through the rocky massifs and garrigue-covered hills that characterize the Languedoc coast, offering glimpses of the Mediterranean between climbs. December timing means cooler temperatures for tackling the exposed terrain, and the finish in Gruissan—with its distinctive Barberousse tower and laid-back seaside atmosphere—provides the perfect setting to celebrate afterward.
