Biasca Climb

About this event

Born from a passion for mountain racing, the Biasca Climb carves a steep, technical line through the heart of Ticino's alpine terrain. Starting from Biasca's football field, the 9.5km route tackles 2000m of elevation gain through scenic alpine trails, passing local landmarks like Ol Fración and Alpe di Compiett before reaching Forcarella di Lago. The course demands both fitness and technical skill on its steep passages. After the official finish, a short non-competitive descent leads to festivities at Cava Hut, where drop bags will be waiting for a well-earned gear change. This is a serious vertical challenge for experienced mountain runners seeking something authentic in a less-traveled corner of the Swiss Alps.
