About this event

The Rock 'n' Roll Madrid brings together over 45,000 runners from 110+ countries for Spain's largest running event. Dating back to 1978, it offers three distances through the Spanish capital's historic heart. The course passes the Royal Palace, Retiro Park, and Puerta del Sol, with elevation changes that add a genuine challenge to the experience. What sets it apart is the atmosphere — more than 30 live music stages line the route, and massive crowds turn the streets into a citywide celebration. Whether tackling the full marathon, half, or 10K, runners get to experience Madrid at its most vibrant and welcoming.
