Set in the protected Zobor forest-steppe near Nitra, this October trail race offers two distinct challenges through Slovak woodland and open terrain. The 51km route follows two connecting loops with 1,428 metres of climbing, winding through forested sections that give way to steppe-like clearings. Refreshment stations at 17km, 33km, and 45km keep runners fuelled for this demanding day out. The 21km option covers a single loop through the same varied landscape with 751 metres of elevation gain. Both routes showcase the unique character of the Zobor region, where dense forest meets open hillside. This is an event for runners who've built up their trail fitness and are ready for a proper challenge in Slovakia's autumn landscape.
