Gazdovská 50

Gazdovská 50 takes runners through the forested ridges of the Kysuce region in northern Slovakia, a landscape of rolling hills and dense woodland that sees few international visitors. The 50km route tackles 2000 metres of climbing through quiet trails winding between traditional mountain villages. Starting from the football stadium in Krasno nad Kysucou, the course explores a network of forest paths and rural tracks deep in genuinely remote terrain. It's a solid challenge for experienced trail runners, with sustained elevation throughout and the unpredictable conditions that come with early spring in the mountains. The event maintains a low-key, local atmosphere while offering well-marked routes through this lesser-known corner of Slovakia.
