XM Limassol Marathon

About this event

The XM Limassol Marathon brings Cyprus's running community together along the island's stunning southern coast each March. The courses follow a remarkably flat coastal route — barely 18 meters of elevation gain — with the Mediterranean stretching out alongside runners for much of the way. Early spring means pleasant temperatures and that refreshing sea breeze off the water. With six distances from kids' races through to the full marathon, there's genuinely something for everyone, whether someone's chasing a personal best on the fast half marathon course or a family is making a weekend of it. The atmosphere reflects Cyprus itself: warm, welcoming, and celebratory, with thousands of locals lining the route and post-race festivities by the sea.
