Nicosia Marathon

About this event

The Nicosia Marathon brings together runners across five distances in Cyprus's historic capital each January. The courses wind through the city's striking Old Venetian Walls, modern streets, and the greenery of Athalassa National Park, offering a glimpse of Nicosia's unique character on foot. Distances range from a full 42km marathon and 21km half marathon to 10km, 5km, and a 1km race for young runners. Live music and enthusiastic local support create a celebratory atmosphere that makes race day feel like a genuine community event, welcoming everyone from seasoned marathoners to families introducing children to their first running experience.
