X-Mas Trail

About this event

The X-Mas Trail brings festive spirit to the forested hills around Weiskirchen in Germany's Saarland region. Set in mid-December, this winter event offers three challenging distances through rolling, technical terrain. The 15km route tackles 550 metres of climbing, while the 33km and 46km options demand considerably more with 1220m and 1759m of elevation gain respectively. December timing means crisp winter conditions and possibly snow-dusted trails, adding an atmospheric edge to the challenge. It's an ideal way to close out the trail running season with something beyond the usual summer calendar.
