Ultra-Trail Snowdonia brings the UTMB experience to the dramatic peaks of North Wales, where runners navigate the same rugged terrain that's challenged mountaineers for generations. The routes wind through Snowdonia National Park, passing glacial lakes, ancient forests, and exposed ridgelines with views across to Ireland on clear days. While the longer distances tackle serious mountain terrain that demands respect, the 25K offers a perfect introduction to mountain trail running through this stunning landscape. Based in the historic slate quarrying village of Llanberis, the event captures the wild character of Welsh mountain running. The terrain ranges from technical rocky paths to flowing forest trails, with the ever-changing Welsh weather adding its own memorable element to the adventure.
