Trail du BW takes runners into the Ardennes brabançonnes from Chaumont-Gistoux, offering a genuine challenge across four demanding distances. The 41km (845m elevation) serves as the entry point for those testing ultra territory, while the 61km (1,160m) and 85km (1,729m) push endurance across the rolling Brabant woodlands. The 100km tops out at 1,750m of elevation gain, weaving through ancient forests and quiet valleys that define this corner of Belgium. December conditions add an extra edge — cold air, possible mud, and that particular clarity winter brings to the trails.
