The Loop Run

About this event

The Loop Run carves a demanding circuit through the Beskid Mountains of southern Poland, starting and finishing in Bielsko-Biała. The route tackles the highest peaks across three mountain ranges — the Silesian, Żywiec, and Little Beskids — including iconic summits like Babia Góra, Pilsko, and Barania Góra. Three distances (49km with 2,126m climbing, 104km with 4,730m, and 224km with 10,538m) offer different ambitions, though all require solid mountain experience. The longest loop is a serious undertaking with more than 10,000 metres of climbing. Runners traverse varied Beskid terrain, from forested trails to exposed ridgelines, experiencing the wild character of these less-travelled Polish ranges. Mid-August timing brings warm days and cool mountain nights.
