About this event
The Amazing Northampton Run offers a proper tour of this historic English town through its closed-road half marathon course. The route winds through quiet parks, follows the riverside, and passes sporting landmarks and handsome architecture that tell the story of Northampton's past. Beyond the half marathon, there's a 3-mile option for those wanting a shorter challenge, plus relay teams can share the distance. The event draws runners from around the world and supports nearly 30 charities, with free entry available for those fundraising. It's the kind of race where personal bests and community spirit mix naturally, with thousands turning out to run through a town that opens its roads for the day.
