The Sunrise and Snowdrop Express offers two 123km routes through rural Worcestershire, each tackling the same terrain in opposite directions. Both versions wind through scenic countryside around Evesham and Upton, following quiet roads designed to keep riders away from heavy traffic. The clockwise Sunrise Express and anti-clockwise Snowdrop Express attract a strong field of experienced endurance athletes each February. Staggered start times help spread the field, while a gritted alternative route provides a safer option when winter conditions turn icy. With minimal elevation gain but serious distance, this established event rewards steady pacing and mental resilience over raw climbing power.
