STEFANIK URBAN TRAIL

The Štefánik Urban Trail weaves through the forested slopes of the Little Carpathians before descending into the heart of Bratislava. Runners follow forest paths and green ridges with sweeping views, then pass centuries-old landmarks in Slovakia's capital — the only capital city in the world bordering two countries. The course honours General Milan Rastislav Štefánik while showcasing a rare blend of wild terrain and urban architecture. With an 11-kilometre route and a more challenging 51-kilometre option climbing 1,683 metres, it serves as a season-closing celebration in mid-October. The mix of natural trails and city culture makes for a distinctive autumn race in Central Europe.
