About this event

The St David's Day Run brings Cardiff's Bute Park to life with a festive trail event that doubles as a celebration of Welsh culture. The flat, scenic course winds through the park's historic grounds, making it accessible for runners of all abilities across three distances: 5K, 10K, and half-marathon. The atmosphere feels more like a community gathering than a race, with Welsh pride on full display and runners supporting Cancer Research Wales. It's a chance to run somewhere beautiful while being part of something bigger, all in one of Cardiff's most beloved green spaces.
